Advocacy Lawyer - Coventry City Council

£35,444 - £41,967 per annum

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented advocate within the Childcare Advocacy team. We are looking for enthusiastic and able lawyers to join our service and to represent the Council as our in-house advocates. A qualified solicitor, barrister or chartered legal executive with the Cilex advocacy qualification, you will have experience of handling complex local authority child care cases in all tiers of court.

You must be self-motivated and able to provide a high quality, client-focused legal service to work effectively as part of a team and establish good relations with your client departments and outside agencies including the police.
