Leeds City Council is looking to recruit a full time permanent Principal Legal Officer to carry out licensing legal work and related committee and court work within the Licensing Communities and Corporate section.
The successful candidate will be a solicitor or barrister entitled to hold a practising certificate, FCILEX or equivalent legal qualification who will work in a lively and busy team of lawyers involved in a stimulating, challenging and rewarding area of law.
It is essential that the successful candidate has good interpersonal skills, is able to prioritise their own workload and work to tight court deadlines. They must be able to work as part of a team and be flexible and enthusiastic.
