ONLINE Q and A session for Local Authority Housing Lawyers about the Covid-19 Emergency

Publish date: 03/04/2020

LLG and Stephen Evans, Housing Barrister at Five Paper, will look to answer your questions regarding housing law during the COVID-19 emergency

"What does the current emergency mean for housing lawyers in local government?'

'Will authorities be able to access the courts to pursue injunctions?'

'Can we still seek to exclude tenants under anti social behaviour legislation during the current lockdown?'

Lawyers in Local government are working with Stephen Evans, housing barrister at Five Paper to bring you an online question and answer session on the developing situation on Thursday 9th April at 2.30-3.30pm.

Please contact alexander.mcdowall@merton.gov.uk if you are interested in joining the meeting and also give an indication of any questions you may wish to ask. We will be interested in your experiences of dealing with the courts in the last fortnight and any situations which have arisen that you are wondering about.

Please forward this email to your housing colleagues.
